Steps to Send Customized SMS

① Select CSV Upload from the menu area.

② Enter Sender
For more details about the sender, click [here].

③ Enter your message.
For the customizable parts (the parts you want to replace with recipient-specific data), assign a variable name and enclose it with {{double curly brackets}}.

④ Prepare and upload the .csv file

(If creating as a text file)
Use a text editor and separate each field with a comma.

Example – Thanking participants / Regional evacuation instructions

(If creating with Excel or other spreadsheet software)
In row 1, enter the variable names (the ones enclosed with {{}} in step ③). From row 2 onward, enter the corresponding data.

When saving the file, be sure to select CSV UTF-8 (Comma delimited) (.csv) as the file format.

  • Drag & drop the CSV file

  • Or click the Browse button to select the file

After uploading, check that the file name is displayed in the box.

⑤ Set the Sending Time

You can choose between Send Now or Schedule for Later.


  • To send immediately: Click the Send SMS button at the bottom right.

  • To schedule: Select the Schedule option, specify the date and time, and then click the Send SMS button at the bottom right.

Notes on Delivery
  • SMS messages are delivered on a best-effort basis and are sent sequentially.

  • There is no guarantee that scheduled messages will all start or complete delivery exactly at the scheduled time.

  • Before scheduling, please make sure your account has a sufficient point balance to cover all scheduled messages as well as new ones.
